The New York Mets placed shortstop Francisco Lindor on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with a right oblique strain.

Lindor exited the Mets’ 4-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday in the fifth inning with soreness on his right side.

The four-time All-Star was seen wincing in pain after grounding out to second base.

Lindor is batting .228 with 11 home runs and 36 RBIs in 87 games this season. He agreed to a 10-year, $341 million contract just prior to the season.

The Mets recalled infielder Travis Blankenhorn from Triple-A Syracuse to replace Lindor.

Blankenhorn, 24, went 1-for-11 in 11 games with the Mets earlier this season.
