The Washington Nationals optioned outfielder Victor Robles to Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.

Robles, 24, hasn’t played at the Triple-A level since 2018. He became a fixture in Washington’s lineup at the start of 2019, playing 155 games that year on the way to the Nationals’ World Series victory.

In 107 games this season, Robles is batting just .203 with two home runs, 21 doubles, 19 RBIs and 85 strikeouts.

In corresponding moves, the Nationals recalled outfielder Andrew Stevenson and right-hander Wander Suero from Triple-A and placed right-hander Kyle Finnegan on the paternity list.

Stevenson, 27, has played in a career-best 80 games for Washington this season, his fifth in the majors. He has batted .215 with three home runs and 15 RBIs, getting optioned to Triple-A on Aug. 21.

Suero, 29, last appeared for the Nationals Aug. 2 before being optioned to Rochester the following day. The reliever is 2-2 with a 6.29 ERA in 38 games. The 29-year-old Finnegan, also a bullpen arm, is 4-5 with a 2.77 ERA over 55 appearances.
