Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving will miss Thursday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to groin soreness.

Irving has periodically dealt with groin issues during the season.

The seven-time All-Star struggled on Tuesday when he scored just nine points on 3-of-13 shooting in Brooklyn’s 116-103 win over the Toronto Raptors at Tampa. Irving scored 34 points two nights earlier against the Phoenix Suns.

Irving, 29, is averaging 26.9 points, 6.4 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 46 games this season.

Meanwhile, star guard James Harden (hamstring) will miss his 12th straight game.

Forward Kevin Durant will serve in the lead role against the Pacers. Durant is averaging 21.9 points in seven games since returning from a hamstring injury and has twice topped 30 during the span.
