Las Vegas Aces center Liz Cambage is sidelined after testing positive for COVID-19.

Cambage is fully vaccinated but is experiencing mild symptoms, the team said. She is in isolation.

The team announced the signing of guard-forward Bria Holmes to a seven-day contract on Thursday.

The Aces (19-7) are in second place in the WNBA standings behind the Connecticut Sun (21-6) and have clinched a playoff berth. They have six games remaining, including three with the Chicago Sky. The first of those will be played Thursday night in Las Vegas.

Cambage, 30, is second on the team in points (14.7 per game) and rebounds (8.4), trailing A’ja Wilson in both categories. The 6-foot-8 Cambage is a four-time WNBA All-Star.

Holmes, a first-round draft pick by the Atlanta Dream in 2016, played in 17 games (five starts) this season with the Los Angeles Sparks, who terminated her contract on Aug. 3.

She averaged 4.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists with the Sparks.
