Matias “Banjo” Kivisto was signed to fnatic Rising’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team on Saturday.

Banjo assumed the roster spot left vacant following the departure of 18-year-old German David “prosus” Hesse, who rejoined BIG Academy.

Banjo, a 17-year-old native of Finland, is set to compete in the upcoming WePlay Academy League Season 2.

“Super excited about this opportunity,” Banjo wrote on Twitter.

The current roster of fnatic Rising consists of Sweden’s Kevin “Kevve” Bohlin and Peppe “Peppzor” Borak, Romania’s Iulian “regali” Harjau, Portugal’s Francisco “kst” Fragoso and Banjo.
