The Call of Duty League (CDL) announced Wednesday it would be going forward with its in-person championship event, Call of Duty League 2021 Champs, as planned at the Galen Center in Los Angeles Aug. 19-22.

The catch?

Fans will be allowed to attend, but only after going through the league’s newly announced COVID-19 safety measures.

All fans in attendance will be required to wear masks. In addition, fans will have to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test received within 72 hours of the day(s) they plan to attend.

Per the CDL’s release, “Effective immediately, all attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or, if not fully vaccinated, a negative PCR or antigen test received within 72 hours of the day of your attendance. All attendees must wear a mask during the event, regardless of vaccination status.”
