Sixteen PUBG teams from the North America and Latin America regions are slated to compete for shares of a $250,000 prize pool when the PCS5 AM Grand Finals begin Sept. 16.
The competition will include 36 matches spread over three weeks, with matches Sept. 16-17, Sept. 23-24 and Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
The winning team will be crowned the Americas’ champion and earn an invitation to the PUBG Global Championship 2021. Two teams competing in the grand finals, Soniqs and Oath, have already qualified for the global event based on points.
Fans will be able to vie for in-game rewards by predicting tournament outcomes through Pick’em Challenge, and 30 percent of the revenue from Pick’em Challenge will be added to the grand finals’ total prize pool.
