Knicks Gaming rallied to defeat Blazer5 Gaming on Saturday and claim the championship of the NBA 2K League’s The Ticket tournament.

Knicks Gaming lost the opener of the best-of-three finale 93-92, but won the next two, 113-97 and 102-92, to win the third and final in-season tournament.

Guard Christopher “Duck” Charles was named tournament MVP, averaging 29.7 points and 14.0 assists for Knicks Gaming.

Knicks Gaming and Blazer5 earned the final two spots in the 2021 NBA 2K League playoffs.

The event featured the seven Eastern Conference teams and six Western Conference teams that did not earn the automatic playoff berths, which went to the top five in each conference. One team per conference will earn a playoff slot based on results in The Ticket.

Earlier Saturday, Knicks Gaming defeated Gen.G Tigers two games to one to win the Eastern Conference title while Blazer 5 advanced by defeating Kings Guard Gaming in the Western Conference, winning the final two games after losing the series opener.
