Natus Vincere first to advance to Blast Premier: Fall final

Natus Vincere won their way into the Grand Final of Blast Premier: Fall Groups 2021 on Saturday by defeating Complexity Gaming 2-1.

Na’Vi won the first and third maps to capture the Group C Upper Bracket Final, and they await the winner of Sunday’s Lower Bracket Final. That opponent will be either Complexity, as it falls from the winner’s bracket, or FaZe Clan.

FaZe earned a Lower Bracket Final berth by defeating OG in Saturday’s other match. The Grand Final will follow the loser’s bracket final on Sunday.

Na’Vi won its first map, Overpass, 16-10 on Saturday, but Complexity responded with a 16-4 victory on Ancient. Na’Vi came back for a clinching 16-9 win on Nuke.

Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev of Ukraine led Na’Vi posted 56 kills and was his team’s only player with a positive kills-deaths differential (plus-11). Patrick “es3tag” Hansen of Denmark finished with 57 kills at a plus-15 for Complexity.

OG and FaZe traded close outcomes to start their match, OG winning 16-13 on Inferno and FaZe bouncing back to take Ancient 16-14. FaZe then wrapped up the win by taking Mirage 16-8.

Havard “rain” Nygaard (plus-10) and Russel “Twistzz” Van Duklen had 59 kills apiece for FaZe. Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski led OG with 62 kills and finished at plus-16.

Team Vitality has clinched Group A and Ninjas in Pyjamas won Group B.
