Ninjas in Pyjamas shuffled Charles “CREA” Beauvois to the bench of their Valorant team on Monday.

The 24-year-old Frenchman has spent the last 13 months with Ninjas in Pyjamas, who announced the move over social media.

“Today, we say farewell to (CREA),” Ninjas in Pyjamas wrote on Twitter. “The man’s stuck with us through an incredibly tough year of online-only matches, and we wish him the brightest of futures in (Valorant). Au revoir, Charles!”

CREA also took to Twitter and issued a lengthy statement.

“Unfortunately for me and the team, my performances have been less and less convincing over time,” CREA wrote.

“Although I almost always felt that I was having a positive impact from a strategic and human point of view, my individual stats were not up to scratch,” CREA said. “In the last few months, I have had several moments of self-doubt which have negatively affected my individual performance.”

CREA said he will take some time to reflect before joining another team.

Ninjas in Pyjamas’ roster consists of Adam “ec1s” Eccles of the United Kingdom, Russians Yaroslav “Jady” Nikolaev and Egor “chiwawa” Stepanyuk as well as Norway’s Emir “rhyme” Muminovic.
