Ninjas in Pyjamas rallied from a map down to defeat BIG and win the Group B grand final at the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups event Wednesday.

BIG advanced to the grand final earlier in the day by taking down G2 Esports in the lower-bracket final.

Ninjas in Pyjamas dropped the opening map 16-14 on Dust II before coming back with victories of 16-13 on Mirage and 16-5 on Inferno.

Denmark’s Nicolai “device” Reedtz led all players with 71 kills and a plus-26 kills-to-deaths differential for NiP. Three players tallied 53 kills apiece for BIG, including Germany’s Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch, who led his team with a plus-1 K-D differential.

To reach the grand final, BIG swept G2 Esports, which took third place in the group. BIG captured the lower-bracket final with a 16-12 win on Dust II and a 19-17 overtime victory on Inferno.

In that match, Denmark’s Nicklas “gade” Gade guided BIG with 48 kills and a plus-7 K-D differential. Nikola “NiKo” Kovac of Bosnia and Herzegovina led G2 Esports with 48 kills and a plus-8 K-D differential.

Twelve teams, broken into three groups, are competing for shares of $150,000 in the event that runs through Sunday. The top two teams from each group advance to the Fall Finals while the bottom two from each group advance to the Fall Showdown. The group winners earn $25,000 apiece.

All matches are best-of-three in the double-elimination format.

Group C begins action on Friday with Natus Vincere opposing OG and FaZe Clan taking on Complexity.
