PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 League to feature $1.47M prize pool

PUBG Mobile announced the format and prize pool for the $1.47 million Global Championship 2021 League that will begin Nov. 30.

The League will be split into East and West divisions, featuring 40 top teams from across the world going head-to-head in their regions. The League will run for three weeks, with matches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays leading up to Super Weekends with the top 16 teams competing for Championship Points.

From there, the 16 teams with the most Championship Points will qualify for the PMGC East and PMGC West Finals. The divisional finals will take place Dec. 22-24 and consist of six daily matches with teams competing for a spot in the PMGC Grand Finals.

The $1.47 million prize pool will include $725,000 being awarded across both the West and East Leagues and $20,000 going toward individual awards.

The entire event will be broadcast exclusively on YouTube for PMGC.
