Renegades secured a spot at the PGL Stockholm Major with a 2-1 victory against LookingforOrg on Friday in the upper bracket final of the Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI – Fall: Oceania tournament.

The Australian-based outfit, which is assured of at last a top-two finish, will have a one-map advantage on Sunday when it faces the winner of the lower bracket final pitting ORDER against LookingForOrg.

Renegades joined Natus Vincere, Team Spirit and Gambit Esports in punching a ticket to the $2 million PGL Stockholm Major. The event is scheduled to run Oct. 26 through Nov. 7.

“WE’RE GOING TO THE MAJOR!!!” Renegades posted on Twitter.

Renegades also secured a spot at IEM Katowice in 2022 given their ESL Pro Tour points total.

Their roster is comprised of Australians Liam “malta” Schembri, Simon “Sico” Williams, Joshua “INS” Potter, Jordan “Hatz” Bajic and Alistair “aliStair” Johnston. David “Kingfisher” Kingsford is the coach.
