Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard was ruled out for Sunday’s game at Washington due to a foot injury.

He did not practice all week and was listed as questionable after suffering a torn plantar fascia in his left foot in the Week 13 win at New Orleans.

Pollard, 24, ranks second on the team in rushing yards (602) behind Ezekiel Elliott (765). He is averaging 5.6 yards per carry and has two rushing touchdowns in addition to 31 catches for 259 yards.

Pollard also averages 28.8 yards per kickoff return, including a 100-yard touchdown against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving Day.

Other inactive players for the Cowboys included tight end Sean McKeon, defensive end Azur Kamara, safety Israel Mukuamu, wide receiver Simi Fehoko, guard/center Matt Farniok and quarterback Will Grier.

For Washington, inactive players included running back J.D. McKissic (concussion) as well as cornerback Corn Elder, linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk and wide receivers Dax Milne and Antonio Gandy-Golden.
