The Green Bay Packers expect quarterback Aaron Rodgers to start Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, NFL Network reported Monday.

Rodgers is out until Saturday after testing positive for COVID-19 last week. Rodgers must be symptom-free, return two negative tests and then be approved to return by an independent doctor.

While Jordan Love will be the Packers’ No. 1 QB during practice this week, it is expected that Rodgers will be under center on Sunday.

Rodgers said he had symptoms beginning Tuesday night, tested positive on Wednesday but felt much better Friday. He must be away from the team for 10 days, with Saturday being Day 10. He missed Sunday’s Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, a 13-7 Packers loss.

Love completed 19 of 34 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown, with one interception.

Rodgers has spent the past few days after testing positive defending his decision to not get vaccinated.

He has completed 67.1 percent of his passes for 1,894 yards and 17 touchdowns against three interceptions this season.

The Packers (7-2) have a three-game lead in the NFC North. They will host the 3-5 Seahawks in what will be the return of Seattle QB Russell Wilson.
